🦪 ♻️ 🎨 Introducing the Long Island Creative Reuse Project!
LIAA is partnering with Corporate Partner to bring recycled oyster shells to Long Island’s arts and cultural community.

Through this pilot initiative, cleaned and sanitized oyster shells are being made available for creative reuse, supporting artistic, educational, environmental, and public-facing projects that advance sustainability across the region.

Whether you’re an artist, educator, museum, library, or community organization, there may be shells ready for your next project.

🔗 Complete our interest form so LIAA can review your request, assess availability, and follow up with next steps. Link in bio.

Youth programs, schools, libraries, museums, environmental education, and high-visibility community projects may be prioritized for free or subsidized access. Ongoing studio or commercial use is available through a paid access program with per-pickup fees and LIAA member discounts.

Deadline: May 5, 2026
Applicants Notified: Fall 2026

Supports arts organizations in building long-term financial stability by establishing or strengthening an operating reserve fund. Grants of up to $50,000 are available to New York State nonprofit arts organizations that have received direct NYSCA funding within the past three years and have operating budgets between $150,000 and $3 million. In addition to funding, recipients receive a year of technical support focused on financial sustainability and reserve planning. Organizations creating a reserve fund for the first time are prioritized.
