Come join us in support of preservation of Long Island’s green spaces and enjoy wine, charcuterie and camaraderie on Saturday, September 19th at Farrm Wine! Your $75 donation will go a long way toward assisting the Long Island Sierra club group in its mission to explore, enjoy, and protect our little piece of the planet.

Forward-thinking farmers Connie and Rex Farr (prior Environmentalist of the Year award winners!) have kindly offered to host their third fundraiser/wine tasting for our club! They have sold development rights to the Peconic Land Trust, so that the Farr’s fields will remain farmland, all while producing award-winning red wines! 🍷

Happy Earth Day 🌎! Although Earth Day is obviously every day, it’s always good to celebrate the things we hold dear a little more every now and then. This , go outside and plant something new, listen to your backyard wildlife, and look up ways to support more birdsong or more butterflies. Enjoy a walk in a park or at the beach, or even just around your neighborhood. Reconnect with the wild side of your nature!

As Mother Nature starts to reinvigorate herself all around us, so too is it our time to learn her lessons and re-energize the ways we feel home in her world. 🐣🌱
