The Suffield Fire Department regrets to announce the passing of Retired Chief Charles Flynn. Chief Flynn proudly served the Town of Suffield for 10 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Happy Halloween!!!
Today SFD took delivery of the second of two new apparatus we have joining the fleet. This apparatus is a 2023 E-One custom pumper. Once in service this squad will be housed at Headquarters.
This squad was designed specifically to carry enough equipment to cover all hazards as a first due apparatus to emergency scenes.
Department members will start training next week on the operation skills, driving, and overall familiarity with the new squad. Soon after the squad will be fully placed into service.
Thank you to the FF Seger, FF Godin and FF Tyler who did a great job designing this squad. A special thanks to Michael Pinto and Greenwood Emergency vehicles for providing the Department with its 5th E-One fire Apparatus

At 1800 hours today, Chief Scott Cunningham officially announced the NEW Tanker 3 is online and in service!!! This Tanker is located at Station 3 in West Suffield.

Our National Night Out event will be on Tuesday August 1st at the High School! Come out and join us to meet all the people that help keep the Town of Suffield safe while you have fun with your neighbors! We'll have our Police Officers, Fire Department and EMS personnel, DPW and other guests with their vehicles, trucks and other gear to show off that night. We look forward to seeing you that night!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Newark NJ Fire Department this morning as they lost 2 members in the line of duty last night. They were involved in a multi alarm fire aboard a cargo ship.
