These scouts did an awesome job cleaning Brooklands Park this morning as part of the Village of Suffern’s Keep Rockland Beautiful, Inc. cleanup.

Today, ten Arrow of Light scouts (our largest group in years!) crossed the bridge from Cubs into Scouts BSA. Five of the scouts also earned the Arrow of Light rank, Cub Scouting’s highest honor. We are happy that we got to share the event with members of the four different troops that received our scouts: Troop 2021 Suffern, Scouts BSA Troop 2146 - Sloatsburg & Tuxedo, NY , Troop 97G New City, and Troop 79 New City. Our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to a wonderful afternoon.

Congratulations to the scouts who “graduated” Cub Scouting today! We are very proud of all of your hard work and wish you the best of luck on your next adventure.

Pack 23 Webelos Scout Corbin took home the trophy for Fastest Car at today’s Rockland Pinewood Derby in the Palisades Mall. It was a close race with so many super fast cars. Congratulations, Corbin! Thanks to the GHV Rockland District for hosting!

Today was derby day! Everyone did an amazing job and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship. Congratulations to all of the racers! Many thanks to the parents, leaders, volunteers and Scouts BSA den chiefs who worked so hard to make this event happen.

Last Wednesday, our Arrow of Light and Webelos scouts learned about first aid and emergency response from the experts. Thank you so much to Sloatsburg Fire Department and Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corps for the opportunity!

It was a festive weekend for Pack 23 and Cub Scout Pack 2146 - Sloatsburg & Tuxedo, NY. On Saturday, we marched in the Village of Suffern holiday parade, and on Sunday, we spread holiday cheer during The Village of Sloatsburg’s annual caroling event.
