Thanks to everyone who came out to the Roxbury Woman's Club Bunco Night Fundraiser! It was a fun night. We got a chance to learn and play Bunco, meet new folks and enjoy some light refreshments.

Recently our club continued its tradition of participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s . We formed our own team: several club members and family members joined the walk, while other members and friends donated to the cause.

We exceeded our fundraising goal. However, donations are still being accepted. To find out more, go to https://alz.org and search for the Northwest, NJ Walk to find our team, the Roxbury Woman's Club.

This is the world's largest fundraiser to fight this disease, and we are proud to support this cause.

Our club members had fun volunteering at La Fiesta to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Roxbury Township Public Library. Club members Heather, Carol and Pat L helped serve the delicious food. Karen W & Jean W helped out with the pinata crafts and Jean also help work with the Frida Kaholo flower stickon craft project. Looking forward to next year already!

Club members, Rose and Judy R., volunteered for the Lake Hopatcong Foundation project to get native plants in the ground. These native plants will help slow and absorb stormwater runoff, capture sediment and nutrients, and provide food and habitat for wildlife - all while helping protect water quality in Lake Hopatcong.

This large scale project is a partnership between the Lake Hopatcong Commission, Lake Hopatcong Foundation, Roxbury Township, New Jersey, and Princeton Hydro, with funding through a National Fish and Wildlife Foundation grant awarded to the Lake Hopatcong Commission.

Our new club year is off to a great start! We held our September general meeting this week. We were thrilled to host 11 guests and hope we will be welcoming them to our club soon. We also welcomed our new club President, Heather, and the new members of the board.
We collected holiday stockings to be donated to Operation Jersey Cares for our troops.
It was great catching up after the summer! We’re looking forward to a fall filled with friendship, fun, and giving back to our community.

The Roxbury Woman's Club is participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's, Northwest NJ on Saturday, October 3, 2026, 9:30am at 5 Sylvan Way, Parsippany, NJ

Our club will continue our tradition of walking to End Alzheimer's. This is the world's largest fundraiser to fight this disease, and we are proud to support this cause.
