The members of the Stuyvesant Fire Company No 1 would like to take a moment to congratulate our member Thomas O'Neil and all the other students at Questar in Greenport who recently completed their B E.FO. class .
We also would like to extend our congratulations to member Gavin Heusdens on graduating from Questar as well and committing to UNOH to further his education in the auto mechanic field. We wish all of you and the graduating class of 2026 the best of luck in all your future endeavors .

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Chairman of The Board of Fire Commissioners Richard Lacrosse. Rick became a Commissioner 4 years ago and was elected Chairman 3 years ago. Rick also helped us for many years with our fundraisers and was instrumental in helping our department move forward on many levels. He will be missed by many. Thank you Rick for everything you've done.
We ask that you keep his wife Sandy and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
