The Volksmarch March 250 is THIS SATURDAY at Fort Meade and we cannot wait. Two distances, one iconic trail system, and 250 years worth of reasons to get outside.

Registration opens at 8 AM · $3 per person · End time 2 PM

Lace up and step into history. In honor of America's 250th birthday, Sturgis Outdoors invites you to walk the land where the story of the American West was written.

This year's annual Volksmarch winds through the gravel pathways surrounding historic Fort Meade, climbs a single-track trail to the National Cemetery, and returns with sweeping views of the fort, the cemetery, and the iconic Bear Butte. Choose your distance — a 5K or 10K — and walk at your own pace through one of the Black Hills' most storied landscapes.
