It’s that wonderful time again and your local Lodge 49 FOP is seeking donations for Shop with a Cop! We will be taking some lucky local kids shopping for Christmas this year and we need your help to make it possible. Please drop off your donation at the Union County Sheriff’s Office. If you are donating by check make it for the FOP Lodge 49 please. Thank you in advance Union County!

It’s that time of the year again, FOP Lodge 49 is gearing up to put on Cops and Kids, formally known as “Shop with a Cop.” If you would like to donate to this special event donations can be dropped off to the Union County Sheriff’s Office. Checks can be made out to FOP Lodge 49. Without your support we couldn’t help provide these children a magical Christmas. Thank you as always!

We would like to thank everyone for making our annual Cops and Kids a success. Couldn’t be done without the generous donations from the community! A special thank you to Wal-Mart and Hannah’s Place for all you to help each year! Many smiles and laughs were heard throughout the day! We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Cops and Kids 2022 is in the books! Thank you to all who donated and volunteered! Also a big thank you to Morganfield WalMart for the continued support of Cops and Kids! Hannah’s Place in Uniontown always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone gets some great pizza and drinks! None of this could be done without the help of everyone in our community! Not all children are pictured but they were all smiling! Plans for next year are already in the works as well as some fun events being planned by FOP Lodge #49 Fraternal Order of Police 5th Judicial District. Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas is upon us and the annual FOP Lodge #49 Fraternal Order of Police 5th Judicial District Cops and Kids has been scheduled! Our lodge will be making the Christmas season a little brighter for children in Union County!

We will be shopping at Walmart in Morganfield with children who range in age from 5 to 17. None of this would be possible without the generous support from our community. The budget for each child is $150.00. This allows the children to get clothing and some fun items of their choosing!

Please join us in the experience of spreading Christmas joy to children right here in Union County! Donations can be dropped off at the Union County Sheriff's Office in a sealed envelope to FOP Lodge 49. Checks can be made out to FOP Lodge 49 as well. If you have any questions please reach out to Sergeant Eric McCallister FOP Lodge 49 President. We greatly appreciate your past donations and thank you in advance for your contribution this year!

Tuesday December 14th FOP Lodge 49 got to spread Christmas joy to 50 Union County students at the annual Cops and Kids event at Wal-Mart. The Union County Sheriff’s Office, Sturgis Police, The Kentucky State Police, Morganfield Police, Morganfield Fire and several volunteers from the area were able to participate. A special thank you to everyone who donated, Wal-Mart and the Burke’s from Hannah’s Place for donating lunch to the students. Merry Christmas from FOP Lodge 49!

Cops and kids was delivered Yesterday 12/15/2020! We designed a drive thru pick up system and for those who couldn’t pickup we delivered! 53 kids will have a better Christmas because of your sponsorships!!
