Reminder that we will not have a regular donation event in September….but need does not take the Holidays off. So if you have items from our list of essential items to donate, please give us a call.

Most needed items…pots and pans. There is a set on our Walmart wishlist for less than $20. And B & G discount has a set for $20 that I am sure would be discounted more if you tell them what they are for.

Just a reminder that the first Saturday of September is Labor Day weekend. So we will not be open for donations. Our next open donation day is October 3.

IF you have a larger donation that you can’t hang on to until October, please call us at 269.257.0030 and we will make an arrangement to meet you at the center for exchange.

I am making a new post because some things needed updated. This is where you can find information you may be seeking. Included is a Referral form that you can print and have filled out by referring agency, some basic information about Sturgis Make it Home, and a document - Where do I take my stuff - that will point you in a direction for your donations. I also have a pdf version of the referral form that referring agencies can download and fill out online and then email to us - please email us and we can email the document to you. (facebook isn't friendly to those kind of things) Thank you.

UPDATE- Walmart no longer notifies me that someone has purchased an item from the list. I just had an order show up unexpected. Please comment below if you have ordered so I know to watch for it. 🤷‍♀️ Thank you

Most needed items: We could really use pillows- there is a 2 pack on the Walmart list for less than $7. But we could also use pots and pans and silverware. (Both also fairly cheap on the wishlist)

But if you have any of these items at home to donate please comment and we will be in touch to set up a delivery.

Please keep in mind that for sanitary reasons we need the pillows to be unstained and like new condition. The kitchen items can be used but should be in gently used condition.
