This year at the Black Hills Steam and Gas Threshing Bee we are featuring John Deere tractors and equipment. I will have these two there which both are new to the bee this year. Post in the comments what you will be bringing for the John Deere feature this year. William

Reminder of the WDAC annual membership meeting. Sunday October 12th at 2:30 pm-Ladues Auxiliary building. There will be 3 board of directors positions up for election.
Membership and storage can be paid at the meeting, past members needing to rejoin and anyone interested in joining the club are welcome. Remember it's your club, your ideas can't be heard if you don't come.

Kayde, Klancey, and Ryder Grubl and Teagan and Sterling Williams all competed today at the South Dakota pedal pull championships. By participating in the pedal pull during the Threshing Bee, they all qualified to pull at state in Mitchell. Ryder placed 3rd in his age bracket so he qualifies for the national pull held the end of September. Congrats Ryder and the rest of you for representing the bee.

We had 28 tractors participate in the tractor pull yesterday with 45 hooks. Congratulations to the class winners: Class 2 and Class 3-Tom Unverzagt with John Deere 420. Class 9-William Huston with McCormick W9. Class 10-Abbie Rounds with John Deere R. Class 11-Tom Huston with Minneapolis Moline GB. Class 12 Classic-Bill Huston with McCormick WK40.

Be sure to buy your raffle tickets for a new John Deere pedal tractor. Proceeds go to help put on the kids pedal pull. 1st prize is pedal tractor. 2nd prize John Deere kids bicycle. 3rd prize toy John Deere tractor. Tickets are $5 each with only 200 sold. Tickets can be purchased at the registration booth. Drawing will be before the Sunday parade. Prizes donated by Grossenburg Implement in Belle Fourche and by William Huston.
