Dear Recovery Thru Restoration Family, Donors, and Sponsors,
This year has been incredibly challenging for our RTR team. Cat-B's son’s diagnosis of epilepsy has led to countless ER visits, ICU stays, and multiple trips to the Mayo Clinic, 8 ½ hours from Sturgis. These circumstances have made it difficult to dedicate the time needed to debut our first motorcycle build, RE-1A, and its companion mental health video series, during the 85th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally as hoped.
Despite these obstacles, I haven’t been idle. With your support, I’ve carved out a small shop space for filming the build and secured many of the necessary parts, thanks to incredible partners like J&P Cycle, RidePower, Dirty Dog Productions’ fundraiser, and our donation gas tanks around Sturgis. While we haven’t progressed as far as we’d hoped, I’m proud of the strides we’ve made.
Please don’t give up on RTR and our mission to support Veterans in the motorcycle community by breaking down mental health stigmas and aiding recovery. Our goal remains clear: to return both the Veteran and their motorcycle to the road, fully functional and stronger than ever.
Thank you for standing with us. We’ll keep pushing forward.
Semper Fi,
Ryan "DevilDog" Brown
