👀 Behind the Kitchen Door

Every meal starts long before the delivery vehicle leaves.

Menus are planned.
Food is ordered.
Vegetables are chopped.
Pans are filled.
Routes are organized.

Then somehow our kitchen staff still manages to laugh, support each other, and keep things moving.

The real magic happens before most people have finished their first cup of coffee.

One of our favorite traditions at Northern Hills Meals on Wheels is celebrating the birthdays of the amazing people we serve.

This month’s birthday meal is bringing some summer sunshine with:

🍊 Orange Creamsicle Cake

Today, the youth group from Black Hills Baptist Church spent their morning preparing and packing meals for seniors across the Northern Hills. We are grateful for these young people who chose to serve others and be the hands and feet of Christ in our community.
