Suzanne Dymond Metzel is a native of Door County, residing in Baileys Harbor. She studied Interior Architecture and Design at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and enjoys all forms of creativity including painting, sculpting, woodwork, photography, and graphic design.

Place your Donation-Bid for the Butterfly House of your choice in the comment section of that Butterfly House/Artist post.
Send a private message to Vintage Home & Garden Fair - Fundraiser for DC Habitat for Humanity with contact information (name, phone, email) that can be used when your donation bid is successful.
Donation-Bids will be accepted on-line at this FB site and at the Habitat ReStore through Friday August 23. Additional and final Donation-Bids can be made at the Vintage Fair starting at 9am. Successful bidders for each house will be notified Saturday morning.
Butterfly Houses must be picked up at the Vintage Fair from 10:00-3:00 on Saturday August 24th or at the Restore the week of Monday August 26th. Butterfly Houses must be picked up and can not be shipped.
Payment by cash, check, PayPal, or credit card to Door County Habitat for Humanity is due at pick up on August 24th. Door County Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization focused on providing Affordable Housing in Door County

George Burr resurrected his high school art studies when he visited Door County at the age of 51. Picking up his pastels he discovered a talent within that had quietly matured over the years. Concentrating on pastel landscapes George’s brilliant use of color and texture captures and extends the vistas that surround us. The soft pastel pigment portrays nature with a soft beauty unique to the medium.
