Door County Parks and Open Space Plan 2026-2030

The Door County Parks and Land Use Services Departments are in the process of updating the Door County Parks and Open Space Plan, and are hosting an open house meeting to present the draft plan and gather public input on the plan. The purpose of this plan is to guide future county park and open space development, enhancement, and preservation, while also enabling municipalities to apply for federal and state grant funding for outdoor recreation.
Please join us for this open house meeting to learn about the County Parks and Open Space Plan and provide your input. The meeting is available in both in-person and virtual formats. The draft plan and meeting agenda may be viewed on the Door County Facilities and Parks Department webpage at the following website address:

The draft plan may also be viewed at the Facilities and Parks Department during regular business hours (Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Friday: 7:00 a.m.- 11:00).
