This event will kick off our fundraiser for scholarships to send Wisconsin students and others who might need financial help to this year’s conference and lobby day.

Registration is open for CCL’s Summer Conference and Lobby Day! This year's event takes place July 26-28, with a jam-packed day of conference programming preparing you for in-person meetings with lawmakers on Capitol Hill. Early Bird registration is $149 ($50 discount) and ends May 21. Student registration is $35. Learn more and register at cclusa.org/summer.

We’re excited to announce that Jigar Shah will join CCL’s 2026 Summer Conference & Lobby Day lineup as a keynote speaker!

Shah served as a former Director of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office, where he helped transform the federal government’s clean energy investment strategy. He also co-founded SunEdison and Generate Capital, which largely invented low-cost, infrastructure-as-a-service financing.

Today, he co-hosts the "Energy Empire" podcast and the “Open Circuit” podcast. Shah earned a well-deserved spot on the 2024 TIME100 list of the world’s most influential people as an energy entrepreneur, investor, and strategist.

Write to Senators Baldwin and Johnson and ask them to cosponsor the Save Our Sequoias Act. Sequoia trees aren’t just nice to look at—like all of America’s forests, they also play a critical role in addressing climate change by sequestering carbon. We need to make sure these trees are preserved. Learn more and use CCL’s email tool at cclusa.org/sos.

The Save Our Sequoias Act is in need of cosponsors. We’re building support to help get the bill through the Senate and ultimately signed into law.
