This Menstrual Hygiene Month, your belief and generosity became something tangible—pads in a woman's hands, confidence in her heart, and the freedom to attend class without worry.

Period poverty is real.

Because of your support, women and girls are gaining access to essential menstrual hygiene products and the dignity they deserve.

Thank you for standing with Unsilenced Voices. Your generosity is doing more than providing supplies—it is creating hope and opportunity.

Your support says:
💜 A woman's dignity matters.
💜 A survivor deserves a second chance.
💜 Every woman and girl, regardless of her background, deserves the opportunity to dream.

We are grateful. We are energized. And we will not stop working until every woman and girl has access to the resources, support, and opportunities she deserves.

Join us in sponsoring a survivor and helping us continue this life-changing work.

Meet a team of young women who were once survivors of domestic violence and trapped in commercial s*x work.

Through the support of Unsilenced Voices, these women were not only rescued, but also given the opportunity to fully complete tailoring training, helping them become fully rehabilitated and equipped for economic independence.

Today, they work side by side in a small tailoring shop owned by one of the graduates, Hawa Kamara. The space may be small, but their determination is powerful. Every day, they work hard to earn an honest income, build a better future, and support one another through sisterhood, healing, and purpose.

Your support made this possible.

Every investment in these women provided more than vocational training. It restored dignity, created safety, and opened the door to sustainable empowerment and long-term freedom.

Because of compassionate supporters like you, survivors are not defined by their past — they are empowered to create a new future.

If you would like to continue helping women like Hawa and her team rebuild their lives, we invite you to Sponsor a Survivor today.

Thank you for believing that every woman deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive.

She once sat in the classroom.
Now, she stands at the front of it.

Sis Paulina—an Unsilenced Voices trainee—has turned her passion for make-up into a livelihood that fully supports her family.

Today, she’s giving back by teaching other women the same life-changing skill.

This is the ripple effect of empowerment.
This is how we create lasting change.

We’re so proud—and this is only the beginning.

Shame dies when stories are told in safe spaces. 💜

These moments from our safe space meeting with s*x workers remind us that healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment.

Don’t be too hard on yourself.
Don’t feel like a failure if some or all of your plans didn’t work out.
One day at a time is all we should be dealing with.

We can’t go back to yesterday, and we can’t control tomorrow… so live for today. 🌻

Every story shared today carried courage, strength, and hope. Together, we continue creating spaces where voices are no longer silenced.

I want to share a beautiful update from our Sponsor a Survivor program that truly reflects what empowerment looks like in action.

Our hardworking Mamie Simbo has taken her journey a step further in a way that has deeply inspired us all.

Through the support of Unsilenced Voices, Mamie has been building her tailoring and creative skills with dedication and pride. What began as training for survival has now grown into something far more powerful — self-reliance and entrepreneurship.

Recently, Mamie created something truly special: a beautifully crafted outfit paired with a matching handbag — designed and made entirely by her hands.

It is more than fashion.

It is a statement of resilience.
It is a symbol of dignity restored.
It is proof that survivors are not defined by their past, but by the futures they are building.

Every stitch Mamie makes carries confidence, hope, and the determination to succeed. She is no longer just rebuilding her life — she is actively shaping it.

This is what your support makes possible.

Through Sponsor a Survivor, women like Mamie are given the tools, training, and opportunity not only to recover from trauma, but to rise into independence, creativity, and economic stability.

✨ From survival to skill.
✨ From skill to self-reliance.
✨ From self-reliance to leadership.

👉 Sponsor a Survivor today and help another woman transform her life just like Mamie.

Every day our trainees come to school, a positive impact is made on their lives.

Meet Mamie Simbo, 21. Growing up, she wanted to become a nurse. She couldn’t realize this dream due to enduring bouts of s*xual abuse. At an unsuspecting age of 14, she was already carrying her first child instead of a school bag. She now has two kids. No justice, no one is held responsible for the atrocities she survived.

At the skills training center, she is determined to change her story, grow and thrive; paying keen attention to every course instruction. She is one of the best students currently.

Like Mamie, your generosity and support to Unsilenced Voices is in no small part changing the lives of women/girls and communities with exceptionally clear, measurable outcomes.

We thank you profoundly for your support. Together, we a force of impact anchored on principles of sustainability, inclusion transparency and accountability.

At the Center, our Gara-tie-dye assessment is more than just an exam—it’s a real demonstration of skill, growth, and confidence. These periodic assessments help evaluate the trainees’ progress as they independently complete practical work with minimal supervision from their trainers.

It’s powerful to watch their development as they step fully into their craft.

Stay tuned for upcoming updates on tailoring and hairdressing assessment exams as our trainees continue to grow and excel.

Sending love to you all from our S*x Workers & Safe Space meeting 💛

A place where voices are heard, hearts are held, and no one has to carry their story alone.

Because shame loses its power the moment truth is spoken… and healing begins in safe spaces. ✨

I’m honored to share a powerful update from our Sponsor a Survivor initiative — one that reflects the true impact of your support.

We successfully completed our first malnutrition sensitization and Bennimix supply intervention of 2026 at the Sembehun 17 Community Health Center, reaching over four surrounding communities.

When we arrived, we were greeted with incredible news.

The nurses shared that there have been massive recoveries among malnourished children, reducing the caseload to just a handful. Because of this milestone, the center is now able to conclude direct feeding support — a powerful sign of progress and healing.

As we wrapped up our work in Sembehun and prepared to extend support to other communities in need, we remained committed to one thing:

No child left behind.

Every remaining child was fully supplied with Bennimix and enrolled in close follow-up and monitoring through the dedicated nurses at the center, ensuring continued care during this transition.

What made this intervention truly impactful was not just the supplies — but the empowerment of mothers and caregivers.

Through hands-on training, they learned how to prepare and use Bennimix using locally available ingredients, equipping them with the knowledge to continue nourishing their children long after our direct involvement ends.

This is what sustainable change looks like.

Your support didn’t just provide food —
it helped create lasting solutions, stronger families, and healthier futures.

✨ Because of you, children are recovering, families are empowered, and communities are becoming self-sustaining.

👉 Sponsor a Survivor today and help us reach the next community in need.
