After a lifetime on our waters, Dan & Rochelle Neumann created Coastal Paddleboarding. Stand Up PaddleBoarding has given outdoor enthusiasts an amazing new way of exploring open & remote waterways. As we slowly guide our clients through this paradise, our slow pace has revealed a hidden problem, "waterway litter". We spend much of our time venturing along beautiful mangrove laden shorelines, but t
hese shorelines are also a natural net of sorts for entrapping all sorts of litter. We have big plans for systematically Sweeping our Shorelines! And are hoping to recruit your assistance to sweep the shorelines near you. You are encouraged to share your photos, collection weight, and story. Combining our disdain for shoreline litter with our passion to paddle, Shoreline Sweepers was formed. The name Shoreline Sweepers describes what we do with who we are. We scour the shorelines where the litter accumulates, while stand up paddling, which has the appearance of sweeping. Our goals are quite lofty, but simple. To begin an onslaught against the overwhelming tide of never-ending shoreline litter. With the current occasional waterway cleanups, many areas are out of reach to the average litter hater. We will empower these
do-gooders with the proper equipment to reach these remote areas, while enjoying the fruits of their labor from their favorite new vessel. Our hope is that, as we gain public attention with our obviously highly visible platform, we will then begin to educate boaters, beach-goers,marina's, waterfront restaurants and resorts, with preventative measures to reduce litter and put it in it's place.
