The Mullins Miracle is a heartfelt local and nationwide collaborative effort dedicated to building a custom home for Cindy Mullins, who courageously lost her limbs due to a severe kidney infection. In early 2024, Cindy Mullins of Lincoln County, KY, would lose both arms and both legs due to an infection stemming from a kidney stone. Her husband DJ is a longtime dedicated part of the managment team
at Central Seal based in nearby Danville, KY. At that time, Chris Hibbard President of Central Seal sent a text to Vince Giordano, President of Hog Technologies informing him of the Mullins difficulty and Vince in turn showed the story to Hog's founder and CEO, James P Crocker. Vince further pointed out the truck just outside James's office window that Hog was building for Central Seal at the time. Ironically.... or providentially, James had just then finished watching a 15 year old video from the archives in which he was saying of a very short time frame Extreme home makeover in TN "I've never done this before, but it will probably not be the last time I do such a thing". Struck by the odd timing, James began to feel a calling to travel to KY and organize the construction of a new home for DJ & Cindy. One in which Cindy can gain access to all the conveniences of a home puposly built to accomodate the many challenges she now faces. Soon James made an exploratory trip and challenged DJ & Cindy to find a suitable piece of ground for the construction of a new home. James also set a fundraising goal of $ 250,000 and was able to soon secure a large anchor donation from the well known national Joyce Meyer Ministries. "This is a heartwarming story of an entire community coming together to support one of its' own, and we are happy to come alongside to make it happen" says David Meyer. Since late February, a 20 acre tract of land has been secured, the home has been designed to suit the needs of Cindy and her family and some 25 contractors and many suppliers have stepped up and committed the resources necessary to construct the home in just 10 days time begininning on Sept 9th, 2024 and the family moving in the morning of Sept 18, 2024.
