As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting and promoting the arts in our communityâand in collaboration with the five local high school visual arts departmentsâMartinArts is seeking local artists to lead a one-day, high schoolâlevel, multi-media arts workshop for small groups of 15â20 students.
The workshop will be held on Friday, April 17 from approximately 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Memorial Park and the Court House Cultural Center in downtown Stuart. (**If you previously submitted a proposal, please reply to this email to confirm your availability on this date.)
We are currently seeking instructors in the following mediums (and are open to additional ideas): ceramics, sculpture, watercolor, drawing (pencil or pen/ink), assemblage/collage, acrylic or oil painting, textiles, pastels, and photography.
Selected instructors will receive a $300 stipend for their time and lesson preparation. All student supplies will be provided at no cost.
To be considered, please submit:
A brief description of the lesson(s) you propose to teach
A suggested materials list, be specific if possible
Any additional requirements needed to successfully conduct your workshop
