Help SAVE Martin County High School Swimming Pool

Help SAVE Martin County High School Swimming Pool The Martin County High School Swimming Pool needs our HELP!!

12/23/2024

In my 11 years of doing this and from the DCF site going back to 2009 there has NEVER been a year with over 100 recorded child drowning deaths in Florida. I am at a loss for words and my heart is broken for these families. I am praying that we can finish out the year with NOT ONE MORE. As we approach Christmas and New Years PLEASE don't let your guard down. Keep a very close eye on your kids especially if you are visiting a new area or at a family members home. It only takes SECONDS for your world to be turned completely upside down. Take it from me and all of the other grieving parents!

Out of this 101 children, 26 were on the spectrum and I have NEVER seen that number so high. Statistics show that almost 90% of Autistic children's deaths are from drownings. That is a very alarming statistic and should not be ignored!

As we continue to advocate to keep the pool open and receive the necessary repairs to the pool it is important to know more about our choices for school board candidates for the upcoming school board election. We do have a choice between Sydney Thomas and Marsha Powers. Please take a minute to learn who is financing each persons campaign.
