Yes, cancelled again!!
😩⛈️
BUT if you are in the area from 5:45-6:15 please swing by the ballpark and grab some pizza!! 🍕Coaches Trevor and Moose will be there handing it out.

Two games in a row cancelled due to weather was a first, but three is nuts! Here’s how we plan to adapt:

1) Add a make up game to our season that will extend it by one week, making our closing game 10/28/26 instead of 10/21. We know it doesn’t fix three rained out games, but we need to ensure volunteers will be available for the make up.

2) In the future our fall seasons will begin later in the season, with the goal of our season ending shortly before Thanksgiving instead of Halloween. This should encourage cooler weather and hopefully less rain.

We miss our MLMC players, families and volunteers deeply. We will play ball, just not this evening!

🙏 Volunteers can now sign up for our added 10/28 game here:

‼️GAME CANCELLED‼️

We held out and hoped for the best tonight, but this evening‘s game is canceled due to weather and a stomach bug going around. We are disappointed and miss our MLMC family! Please spread the word and we all hope for clear skies next week. ⚾️

***Tonight’s Miracle League game is canceled due to the weather.***

‼️⛈️‼️

Rain is expected throughout the day and is forecast to become heavier near game time. After consulting with the field manager, we learned that the field drains well, but the clay and bases are likely to become unsafe.

We are sad to cancel, but of course the safety of our players and volunteers comes first. Thank you for understanding and we hope to see everyone next week!

Miracle League of Martin County is looking for volunteer buddies to help their players enjoy the game of baseball. Each buddy will be paired with a child and stay with them throughout the game, helping them when it’s their turn at bat, running bases, and while they’re out on the field.
The role for their volunteers are simple, but essential for their players. If they do not have enough buddies for all the players, then they are unable to play.

Miracle League games are every Wednesday from Sept. 9th-Oct. 21st, from 5:45p-7p at Sailfish Park.
We are asking our Bulldog Family to show them support and volunteer a Wednesday for their games would be appreciated.
BE MORE, BE A BULLDOG!

You can use their sign up genius to secure your date. They also have a consent form that needs to be signed.
