Man is neither concerned or interested in his soul without God’s help. The MIND is only interested in what pleases the flesh. But With God’s help the MIND that is concerned and interested in the Spirit of God. So are you deceived or revealed to God’s revelation? Dead or Alive- Christian or non- Christian

Romans 8:5-8
Controlled by the Spirit

Living in the Flesh or in the Spirit - Romans 8:5-8 - A Clay Jar
Romans 8:5-8 contrasts two fundamental mindsets: living according to the flesh (sinful nature) versus the Spirit. Those governed by the flesh focus on worldly desires, resulting in spiritual death and hostility toward God, while those governed by the Spirit find life and peace. The fleshly mind cannot submit to God, making it impossible to please Him.

Key Themes and Interpretations (ESV/NIV):
The Contrast (v. 5): People are driven by either their natural, sinful desires ("flesh") or the Holy Spirit.
The Outcome (v. 6): A mind focused on the flesh leads to death, while a mind focused on the Spirit produces life and peace.
Hostility to God (v. 7): The sinful nature is inherently opposed to God and cannot submit to His law.
Inability to Please God (v. 8): Those controlled by the flesh (unconverted or living in disobedience) cannot satisfy God.

Contextual Understanding:
Definitions: "Flesh" refers to the sinful human nature and its desires. "Spirit" refers to the Holy Spirit dwelling within a believer.
Application: This passage serves as a diagnostic tool, prompting self-examination to determine if one is operating under the control of the flesh or the Spirit.
Interpretation: The "mind set on the flesh" describes an unconverted state or a believer operating in their own strength, which is hostile to God.

Good Morning,
Jesus dealt with rejection, Paul dealt with rejection and I have dealt with rejection. This could be the last time you hear love for your soul.

The apostle Paul warned about this when he wrote that a time would come when people would not endure sound teaching, but would gather teachers who tell them what their “itching ears” want to hear (2 Timothy 4:3–4). This does not simply describe false teachers but a condition of the heart that prefers comfort over transformation. A soul that scrolls quickly past anything that unsettles or convicts.

DO YOU RARELY PAUSE LONG ENOUGH TO LET THE SPIRIT SPEAK DEEPLY?

Correction is not rejection but love. Scripture says, “For whom the Lord loves He chastens.” (Hebrews 12:6).

The Father does not correct strangers.
He corrects sons and daughters.
His discipline is the evidence of belonging.
If the Holy Spirit puts His finger on something in your life, it is not to shame you. It is to set you free.

But if we continually ignore His whispers, we remain the same. The same mountains are circled over and over again. And we wonder why growth feels distant.

Growth always requires response. Obedience. Humility.

There are many who will enter eternity still carrying the same unresolved patterns they refused to surrender. They loved encouragement but avoided surrender. They desired breakthrough but resisted change.

What will matter in the end is not how much we accomplished, how visible we were, or what others thought of us. What remains is the quiet work God did inside us over the years. The hidden moments when He whispered, corrected, and gently adjusted the direction of our hearts. The small obediences no one saw. The times we chose to lay down our own way and follow Him anyway.

Let the Holy Spirit finish His work

"Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord guards the city the watchman stands guard in vain."

Psalm 127:1

Dear Friend,

Psalm 127:1 says:

"Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord guards the city the watchman stands guard in vain."

This is another one of those verses which stresses the importance of keeping the Lord first in our lives. It is pointing out that, unless we have the Lord as the center of our lives, all of our work is going to be in vain. The only house that is going stand is the house which God builds. No matter how hard the watchman tries to guard and watch over a city, it ultimately has to depend on God to protect that city.

Who is building your house? Who is protecting your family? Who is building your life?

God wants to be the One who builds your life, who protects you, who watches over you, and who lays His foundation in your life. Let me encourage you to keep the Lord at first place in your life. If you do, you are not going to have to worry about your life or the future.

Here's for having as great week which the Lord puts together!

Good Morning I love you and love sanctifies. Meaning to cleanse you of all unrighteousness.

God clearly states that the unrighteous—specifically those practicing sins like sexual immorality, idolatry, adultery, theft, greed, drunkenness, and reviling—will not inherit the kingdom of God. Revelation 21:8 adds that the cowardly, faithless, detestable, murderers, and liars will face the "second death".
Key details regarding who will not enter heaven include:
* Persistent Sinful Lifestyle: 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 lists various behaviors—including sexual immorality, idolatry, adultery, theft, greed, drunkenness, and reviling—that disqualify individuals from the kingdom of God.
* The Unrighteous and Unbelieving: Those who do not live according to God's word and willfully engage in rebellion will not enter.
* Lack of Forgiveness: A failure to forgive others can also prevent entry, as it demonstrates a lack of understanding of God's grace.
* False Profession: Jesus warned in Matthew 7:21-23 that not everyone who calls Him "Lord" will enter, but only those who do the will of the Father.
* Transformation: While these sins prohibit entry, 1 Corinthians 6:11 notes that believers are "washed, sanctified, and justified" from such lifestyles. As believers we shouldn’t allow anyone to bring gossip to us so not as to be guilty of gossiping and an accomplice to sin.

On the one hand, Scripture speaks strongly against gossip. Romans 1:29; 2 Corinthians 12:20 – Both differentiate gossip from slander and condemn it as the result of a depraved mind, unfitting for Christians. 1 Timothy 5:13; 2 Thessalonians 3:11 – Both condemn “busybodies” who “speak about things not proper to mention.

What is the punishment for gossip in the Bible?

Throughout the Bible it is clear that God takes gossip very seriously, in His eyes, gossip is sinful. Nowhere is this made clearer than in Romans 1:29, where God places gossip amongst a catalogue of sins which characterise those who are under God's wrath and are 'worthy of death.

My life changed the moment I realized hope is available everyday.

Encouraging Word # 58

"For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through per-severance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."

Romans 15:4

Dear Friend,

A constant theme which runs through the Scriptures is the theme of "hope". God knows that we have to have hope every day to be the kind of Christian He wants us to be. Romans 15:4 says:

"For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perseverance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."

Here is written the purpose of Scripture and the way to have hope. Notice that this passage talks about how God has given us the Scriptures to help us persevere and be encouraged. It is through the study and reading of the Bible that we are given hope every day.

I am amazed at how few Christians read their Bible every day! (I hope you are one of the few who do read their Bible every day!) I see so many discouraged Christians and the first thing I ask them is how often do you read the Bible? It is the Christians who are reading and studying God's word that have the most hope in life.

God wants to build perseverance in you and encourage you with hope every day. He does this through His word. Why not let Him encourage you today and every day by spending time in His word! Watch your life change! Watch your whole perspective on life and attitude towards God begin to change.

Here's for having an encouraging and hope filled week!

When I am weak, he is strong" is a phrase from 2 Corinthians 12:10, where the Apostle Paul explains that human limitations (weakness) allow Christ's power to be fully displayed. It means that acknowledging personal helplessness brings reliance on God, whose grace is sufficient to provide strength in times of trial, suffering, or distress.

Paradoxical Strength: The phrase highlights that spiritual strength is not found in self-reliance, but in depending on God.
Context: Paul wrote this after asking God to remove a "thorn in the flesh" (a struggle or affliction), but was told, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness".
The Meaning: It signifies that when we are at our lowest or weakest point, we are actually strongest because we allow God's power to work through us, rather than our own limited strength.
Purpose: The focus is shifted from human capability to divine power, making God, not oneself, the source of strength.
This verse is often used to find comfort and strength during difficult times, encouraging people to embrace their vulnerabilities as opportunities for God to demonstrate His power. Things will get better stay focused on your faith in God.
Be confident in His promises!

"But you, be watchful at all times, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."

2 Timothy; 2 Timothy 4:5

Dear Friend,

The last book that the Apostle Paul wrote was 2 Timothy. In it he wrote to his faithful disciple Timothy. He wanted to pass on to him the things that were most important in life. He said in 2 Timothy 4:5:

"But you, be watchful at all times, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."

He was telling Timothy that living for the Lord is not always going to be easy. There are several things we learn from this:

1. As a soldier guarding a city at night from surprise attacks, so we are to be watchful for the enemy sneaking up on us to sabotage our faith. The spiritual battle is real.

2. We also need to hang in there during the hard times, to keep reaching out to the lost for Christ, and most importantly, to fulfill our ministry.

Paul did not want Timothy to come to the end of his life and miss out on the reason God put him there.

The one thing that God doesn't want us to miss out on is the ministry He has for you and me. Your ministry will last your entire life.

God wants you to end your life completely satisfied. Everyday is a chance to minister to someone else for Him. No matter what's happened in the past or even what is happening now in your life, He still wants to use you every day in the life of another person.
I love souls.

Here's for having a great week fulfilling our ministry.

February 24 2026
I am living this life . My God. I am awake.

The one who was forgotten, never mentioned when opportunity came was the one the prophet said, "We will not sit down until he arrives."

Friend, this might be your story in this season of your life.

The one they overlook.
The one they don't call into the room.
The one whose name is missing when decisions are being made.

And yet, heaven is about to introduce a voice, a voice people respect, that will say, "We are not moving forward until you get here."

Let's walk this journey together. When Samuel arrived at Jesse's house in 1 Samuel 16, it was a serious moment. A king was about to be chosen. Oil was in the horn. Destiny was in the room. Seven sons stood lined up. Seven options that looked right. Tall. Structured. Impressive.

David wasn't even invited. Not because he was rebellious. Not because he was incompetent. He was simply in the field.

Forgotten in routine.
Buried in responsibility.
Hidden in mundane assignments.

And sometimes that is how life feels. You are faithful, but you are far from visibility. You are gifted, but you are far from recognition. You are anointed, but you are not acknowledged.

Jesse presented all his sons. One by one they passed before the prophet. And one by one God said no.

Imagine that tension in the room. The oil is not flowing. The silence stretches.

Until Samuel asked, "Are these all the sons you have?" That question alone tells you something. Heaven knows when someone is missing.

Jesse answered almost casually, "There remains yet the youngest, and behold, he is keeping the sheep."

There remains. Not David the brave. Not David the skillful. Just the youngest.

But heaven does not call you by how men reduce you. "Send and bring him," Samuel said, "for we will not sit down until he comes here."

Pause there. The father stood. The brothers stood. The elders stood. The prophet stood.

Waiting for the forgotten one. God did not change David's birth order. He was still the youngest. He was still the last son. But what God did was flip the position. The one who usually stood while others sat was now the reason others stood.

That is what divine favor does. It does not always rewrite your past. It repositions your future.

Maybe when David's older brothers came home from the battlefield, he stood up out of respect. Maybe he moved aside when they entered rooms. Maybe he learned early how to be the least.

But on that day, the entire house learned how to wait for him.

And here is what makes this even more powerful.

David did not waste the field. While he was unseen, he was sharpening. While he was overlooked, he was developing. While he was alone, he was growing.

The Bible later describes him as skillful, prudent in speech, mighty in valor, and the Lord was with him in 1 Samuel 16:18. That did not happen overnight. That was built in obscurity.

He fought lions and bears when no one applauded. He played his harp when no one was recording. He worshiped when no one was watching.

He refused to let neglect make him small.
Friend, just because you are not mentioned does not mean you should stop preparing. Just because they forgot you does not mean you forget yourself.

Build your skill.
Strengthen your character.
Grow your mind.
Deepen your relationship with God.

Because when your moment comes, it will not ask whether you were popular. It will reveal whether you were prepared.

Les Brown once said it is better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have one than to have an opportunity and not be prepared. David was ready before they called him.

And when he finally walked into that room, God said, "Arise, anoint him; for this is the one."

After being overlooked. After being dismissed. After being left in the field.

Prophet says, this is the one.

I don't know who this is for tonight, but I sense strongly that your field season is not punishment. It is preparation. Natural laws may say you are disadvantaged. Background may say you are last. Systems may say you don't qualify.

But God controls both the spiritual and the physical. And when He decides to flip the room, no one can sit until you arrive.

This is your word. There is a voice coming into your life. A voice with influence. A voice that carries weight. And that voice will say, "We are not proceeding without you."

The opportunity meant for you will not be given to another. The room assigned to you will not close before you get there.

Keep building.
Keep becoming.
Keep believing.

Because when heaven announces you, it will be clear. This is the one.
Amen

"And looking upon them Jesus said to them,
'With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!'"

Matthew 19:26

Dear Friend,

There is something God wants to do with your faith and mine. He wants to stretch it! Matthew 19:26 says:

"And looking upon them Jesus said to them,
'With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!'"

Our faith is like a muscle because it must be used to grow! So often we limit what God can do because we compare His power with the abilities of man. He wants to get you beyond that! He wants you to believe that the seemingly impossible is possible through Him.

Notice that He made very clear that with man these things are not possible. But when God is with you, all these things are possible.

What is the "impossible" in your life today? Why not exercise your faith. Maybe you should even exercise it to a degree greater than you have ever exercised it before. Believe God for the impossible! That will only please Him!

Here's for having a great day and a great week of believing God for the impossible.
