HGSD begins their trek to the BCP France 🇫🇷 festival by traveling through 2 USA 🇺🇸 airports then 2 train stations 🚉 in France before reaching their destination- Hotel Beauregard

A few pictures from our final August practice. Some of the “Sunshine Dragons” will be headed to France 🇫🇷 on Saturday to represent the combined Florida roots where we will meet the rest of our crew. We will be attending the International Breast Cancer Festival along with 4,500 breast cancer survivors will meet to have a parade of Nations followed by 2 days of racing. This is truly a Celebration of Life!!!
Others on this HGSD practice are getting ready for September’s Synergy race.

Yesterday afternoon our HGSD boats traveled to Jensen Beach to continue the repairs. The steering arm has a fresh coat of white paint. Today they returned to Stuart where band aids were put on the front. Thursday and Friday mornings will be wax on - wax off mornings to complete the repairs. Yippee 🥳

On Saturday MaryAnn, Janine, Tina, Diane and Bob attended a Friend’s In Pink with Zumba fundraiser. Dillard’s of the Treasure Coast Mall hosted the event. HGSD was invited to promote our club. Hell Gate Sea Dragons was formed to promote participation and inclusiveness in dragon boating by creating opportunities for our members to compete at all levels in the sport. We aim to educate, train and encourage all members while focusing on Breast Cancer Survivors and their supporters.
