Unfortunately, we canceled Wednesday’s night practice due to rain 🌧️. But Monday evening and Saturday morning practices went off without a hitch. HGSD’s crew arrived early for some land warmups. Each paddler led the team in their favorite one. Some of these pictures include our guest practice. They enjoyed dragon 🐉 boating so much that they are excited to return for another guest practice in a couple of weeks!!!

For Monday and Wednesday nights practices this week, the HGSD crew did not think there would be practices because of the predicted weather forecast. But the coaches watched their weather apps closely prior plus during practices to ensure everyone’s safety. Both practices went for the full hour and ended with gorgeous sunsets.

WOW 😮 we were actually able to practice on both Monday and Wednesday nights while watching the weather carefully plus leaving a few minutes early When we finished on Monday night, it began to rain 🌧️. Our practice on Wednesday night began with rain but no lightning ⚡️ in site. The weather cleared about 30 minutes into the practice. Thanks ☺️ to everyone who decided to stay for the practices.
