Members of the Auxiliary & AMVETS team recently made special deliveries of donated clothing to Wyoming County Community Action in Perry, NY, and Batavia VA.

This clothing will be distributed to local families in need throughout Wyoming County and to our veterans at the Batavia VA.

A special thank you to Kathy Zufall and her family, Jack Hayden, Shirley Eley, Larry and Lorriane Dominesey for their efforts in making this possible.

Dear Volunteers,

A huge THANK YOU to all the incredible volunteers who made our Chicken BBQ Fundraiser such a success!

Looking back at these photos reminds us just how lucky we are to have a Legion family that shows up with heart and hard work every single time.

From set‑up, to cooking the chicken, preparing the beans, potatoes, pies and cookies, to selling tickets, filling the dinner orders, and staying through clean‑up — every one of you played a part in making this event run smoothly.

Your dedication supports our veterans, our programs, and our community.

We appreciate you more than words can say.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this Memorial Day as we honored the heroes who gave their lives in service to our nation. Your presence, your support, and your respect made this day truly meaningful.

A heartfelt thank‑you to all who helped prepare, organize, and participate in each ceremony and the Legion Luncheon — your dedication keeps our traditions alive.

Together, we remember. Together, we honor. Together, we ensure their sacrifice is never forgotten.

The Strykersville American Legion Auxiliary is selling raffle tickets to support the Military Banners displayed throughout town. These banners serve as a tribute to our local veterans, and the funds raised will cover the annual costs of hanging, removal, cleaning, and maintenance.

We are raffling off two prizes:

- 1st Prize: A custom-made fire pit, donated by Maple Grove Enterprises in Arcade, NY.

- 2nd Prize: A raised garden bed, crafted by a local Strykersville resident.

Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased through the following methods:

- In-Person: Tickets are available behind the bar at the Strykersville Legion

- By Mail: Send a check payable to the "Strykersville American Legion Auxiliary" to PO Box 2, Strykersville, NY 14145 (Attn: Military Banner Project)

Winners will be picked at our Strykersville Legion Chicken BBQ on Sunday June 7th!
