Hey everyone! Meals on Wheels here; we wanted to give a big thank you to EVERYONE this past month! It has been our most successful Meals on Wheels Month in a long while, and we couldn't have done it without our drive host sites, donors, buyers of our wish list items, volunteers, and more! 🎉

August may almost be over, but that doesn't mean our programming ends. We collect items year-round for both pets and clients. So if you missed us in August, you can still donate anytime via our wish lists, or you can drop donations off at our office (901 Polk Valley Rd, Stroudsburg). Thank you, everyone for the continued support! 💚

When Melody lost her husband and later faced debilitating illnesses of her own, one loyal companion never left her side: Max, a little Chihuahua-miniature pinscher mix with a big heart.

Today, her local provider helps Melody care for Max by delivering dog food and other essentials.

Stories like Melody's show that supporting older adults means supporting the pets who make home feel like home. 🐶❤️

Big thanks to the Pocono Irish-American Club for having us as part of their annual Irish American Festival in Courthouse Square, Stroudsburg. We'll see everyone there next month! 🇮🇪

Our festival will be on Saturday, September 12th from 11:30 AM to 9 PM. ☘

🚨 REGISTER FOR TOALC CLASSES BY SEPT 9TH! 🚨

(Older Learning) The Older Adult Learning Community has released its Fall 2026 Course Book schedule! TOALC Kickoff will be Sun, Sept 13th at 2 PM. Courses will be held from Mon, Sept 14th to Fri, Nov 20th. Classes will take place in person at East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church and/or online via Zoom. You must register by Weds, Sept 9th to be added to the class roster. For more information, check out their website:
