Due to scheduled electrical work associated with our renovation project, the Pocono Family YMCA will be closed on Wednesday. The utility company is currently scheduled to interrupt electrical service from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; however, the timing is subject to change.
For the safety of our members and staff, and to allow us to ensure all building systems are operating properly once power is restored, we have made the decision to close the facility for the day.
Childcare programs plan to continue operating as scheduled. Childcare families, please monitor Remind for updates and any changes to these plans.
If the electrical work is completed earlier than anticipated and we are able to safely reopen the YMCA, we will communicate that with our members.
We apologize for the inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue moving this exciting renovation project forward.
