Monroe Animal League The Monroe Animal League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Monroe County since 1943. This League is run by volunteers.

The Monroe Animal League (MAL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Monroe County since 1943.

* The League financially assists Monroe County pet owners who are not able to afford to have their pets altered and provides needed funds for the animal to be seen by a veterinarian should an emergency arise and funds are unavailable. These services are possible through the cooperation of many M

onroe County veterinarians.

* MAL promotes spay/neuter services via our voucher program as a way to control pet overpopulation, and thus relieves cruelty and suffering among animals.

* The League loans humane traps/cages (with refundable deposit).

* MAL is presently restructuring and strategizing, upgrading systems, and establishing efficient mechanisms for fundraising. The spay/neuter program, TNR program and emergency medical assistance fund will continue. In order to keep our mission moving forward, only the above mentioned programs will function under the new Board effective May 1, 2022.

Northern Monroe County, we’re coming to you!

We’re happy to announce our next Free Vaccine & Microchip Clinic at Barrett Township Recreational Complex (BARC) in Cresco, PA. Saturday, July 11th from 10am to 2pm.

Rabies vaccines and microchips will be provided by SOS Pet Rescue. Canine and feline distemper vaccines are provided by .

🐈‍⬛ First-come, first-served.
🦮 Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers.
💉 Bring proof of any previous vaccines if able (to ensure we vaccinate appropriately).
🛟 Services are provided for free by SOS and volunteers, but donations are welcomed.
🩵 Be prepared for wait times, as we aim to provide care to many pets in need.
