🏠 Understanding Homelessness Starts With Community.

Join in on the conversation to learn what rolls local agencies and caring individuals can play in addressing homelessness during the Housing Instability Fair this Saturday, August 15th at Christ Hamilton Church (419 Bossardsville Road, Stroudsburg, PA) from 2PM-5PM.

Learn about homelessness in our community and what we can do to help bring safety, belonging, and to provide care for those who are facing a housing crisis.

A panel of experts will offer education and ideas for the community to engage in meaningful and needed ways with a variety of local organizations.

Panel discussions will include representatives from the following agencies:

• Timaki Johnson, Family Promise of the Poconos - Shelter & Housing Services
• Lloyd Shakespeare, RHD - Steet 2 Feet - Homeless Day Services
• Leslie Perryman, Cornerstone Community Initiatives - Incarceration Community Re-Entry
• Teresa Mankin, Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church - Cold Weather Shelter
• Melissa Brown, Safe Monroe - Domestic Violence shelter & Services
• Tom Campbell, Pocono Mountains United Way - Housing Assistance & Advocacy

Smile Ministry would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our Community Breakfast a success!

A special thank you to The Church of Saint Luke for graciously allowing us to use your space to host this meaningful event. We are also deeply grateful to Mark Baylis, CEO of VALOR Clinic Foundation, for your continued support and partnership with Smile Ministry.

We would also like to thank BJ's Wholesale Club, Weis Markets, and Ertle Subaru for their generous donations and support.

To all of our supporters who could not attend but still made their presence felt through donations and encouragement, thank you. Your kindness truly means so much to us.

Our volunteers are the heart of Smile Ministry. In many ways, they are the breath behind every smile we help restore, and they certainly helped create many smiles throughout the event. Thank you for serving with compassion, joy, and dedication.

To our guests, thank you for choosing to spend your Saturday morning with us. Thank you for sharing your stories, ideas, knowledge, and hearts, and for allowing us to share the mission and vision of Smile Ministry with you. Your warmth and engagement helped create a welcoming community atmosphere that made the morning truly special.
