This was just posted by the Strongsville Police Department. We have had a lot of concerns from our development about the kids safety. Please make sure everyone is following the rules of the city.
🚨 E-Bike Safety Reminder 🚨
With the arrival of warmer weather, we’re seeing more E-bikes on our streets, sidewalks, and trails. We want to take this opportunity to educate the public about E-bike laws and safety. An ordinance passed last summer in Strongsville mandates that anyone under 18 must wear a helmet on a class 1 or class 2 E-bike.
👨👩👧👦 Parents — please take a moment to review the graphic below. It’s important that children understand their responsibilities when operating an E-bike, including where they can ride and how to do so safely and legally.
✅ Helmet use is critical. We strongly encourage everyone, whether on a traditional bicycle or an E-bike, to always wear a helmet. It’s one of the simplest ways to stay protected while riding.
Let’s work together to make this a safe and enjoyable summer for everyone in our community. Ride smart, stay safe! 🚴♀️☀️
