🏡 Veteran Housing Solutions will be at the 3rd Annual OH-11 Housing Expo!

Join us Saturday, June 6 at Tri-C Corporate College East, located at 4400 Richmond Rd, Warrensville Heights, OH 44128.

Stop by and meet our very own Frank Sobochan to learn more about our Hearth & Home for Veterans Program.

Through this program, Veteran Housing Solutions works with local municipalities, Land Banks, and community partners to turn blighted properties into beautiful, affordable, fully remodeled homes for Veterans.

These homes are brought up to code with updated electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, energy-efficient windows, new appliances, landscaping, and welcoming interior finishes. Through our partner network, we also help connect Veterans with furnishings and household essentials to make the house feel like home.

For Veterans at risk of homelessness or previously homeless, Hearth & Home provides more than housing — it provides support, mentorship, accountability, and a path toward self-sufficiency.

For Veterans working toward becoming first-time homeowners, we understand that traditional lending can be a barrier. That’s why we offer options such as owner financing, giving Veterans a real opportunity to build stability, credit, equity, and long-term independence.

This is about more than remodeling houses.

It’s about restoring hope, rebuilding communities, and helping Veterans move from surviving to thriving.

This is Ronald Bradom, a Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient, standing in his new ADA walk-in shower.

For Ronald, this is more than a bathroom upgrade — it is safety, dignity, and independence. Living with mobility issues and Agent Orange-related illnesses makes everyday tasks like bathing difficult and dangerous. This ADA shower will help reduce his risk of falls, give him greater confidence in his own home, and allow him to continue living safely and independently.

At Veteran Housing Solutions, this is why we do what we do — helping Veterans remain safe, accessible, and affordable in the homes they fought to protect.

Because their battle continues.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a day to pause, remember, and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Their sacrifice gave us the freedoms we enjoy, the families we hold close, and the country we call home. May we never take that cost for granted.

Today, we give thanks, we remember their names, and we honor the families who carry their legacy forward.

Because freedom is never free.

Your willingness to volunteer your time and hard work is helping us create more than just a house — you are helping build hope, dignity, and a fresh start for Veterans who have sacrificed for our country.

Partnerships like this show what can happen when Veterans continue serving Veterans. Thank you for standing beside us and helping make safe, accessible, and affordable housing possible.

🇺🇸 VFW Post 1079 Day of Service 🇺🇸

Join us as VFW Post 1079 gives back to those who served!

We are proud to host a Day of Service in partnership with Veteran Housing Solutions on Saturday, May 9th at 10:00 AM.

Come out and lend a hand as we work on ongoing housing projects that support homeless, aging, and disabled veterans in our community.

Volunteers will assist with:
Landscaping
Painting
General cleanup and improvements

This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact and support veterans in need.
