Brothers and Sisters of Local 707,

We would like to sincerely thank all the members of Local 707, along with our brothers and sisters from multiple DC6 locals, for showing up and supporting District Council 6’s very first Building Union Power class.

Having all the trades that the IUPAT represents under one roof is exactly where real change begins. Sharing stories, experiences, and ideas reminded us that we are truly one union, one family, and one fight.

This is the start of everything we strive to be. Standing together across crafts, strengthening our solidarity, and building the strongest, most powerful voice in the industries we represent. It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Brother Gregory Sdrakas, a member of IUPAT Local Union 707.

Brother Gregory dedicated his working life to the trade and to our union, and his years of service will not be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him during this difficult time.

Please join us in honoring Brother Gregory’s memory and keeping his loved ones in your thoughts.

🕊️ Rest in peace, Brother. You will be missed.

Local 707 Hoodie Order – Now Open

Local 707 members and anyone who wants to support our local by wearing our hoodies are welcome to place an order.

Important: Those who added their names to the list at the Christmas party are already good to go and do not need to sign up again.

Orders will be placed after the payment deadline.

🎄 THANK YOU, LOCAL 707 FAMILY! 🎄

Thank you to all of the members and families who were able to make it out to the Local 707 Christmas Party this past Saturday. It was an absolutely amazing party, and it was great seeing everyone together celebrating the holiday season.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped before, during, and after the event. These events don’t happen without a lot of hard work behind the scenes, and it truly showed.

And a special shout-out to the Local 707 Executive Board — job well done. Your time, effort, and commitment made this event a big success.

Once again, thank you to everyone who came out and helped make it a great day for our Local. Looking forward to many more events like this.
