District Council 6 is proud to recognize the outstanding members of Local 249 working for PCI Protective Coatings Inc. on the $105 million Portsmouth Water Treatment Plant, one of the most significant public infrastructure projects currently underway in Southern Ohio.
This state-of-the-art, 8-million-gallon-per-day water treatment facility broke ground in August 2024 and is scheduled for completion in 2027. From specialized protective coatings on critical piping systems to the finishing of walls and structural components, these skilled craftsmen are ensuring this facility will serve the Portsmouth community for decades to come.
