Special Needs Moms experience loneliness, isolation, exhaustion, compassion fatigue, discouragement, sadness, exclusion, long days and nights, grief, and anxiety. The Shepherd’s Well provides love, acceptance, a delicious hot meal, encouragement, pampering, entertainment, advocacy, resources, laughter, spiritual direction and nourishment for the mind, body and spirit.

I have often shared how deeply The Shepherd's Well impacts weary moms of children with special needs. It’s a place where they find rest, renewal, community, and hope — often at the moment they need it most.
As we plan for 2026, we’re launching a fundraising effort to raise
$ 5,000 by January 31.
Every gift — big or small — helps us continue offering retreats and gatherings that bring:
