Good afternoon patrons of Polk County. Blue Valley Community Action Polk County needs your help! We are seeing more and more families now that we have moved to a more accessible site and we are in need of food donations. Please if you can help...we are in need of Meat, cereal, spaghetti sauce, peaches, flour, and meal type soups. We will glady accept any and all food/monetary donations as well. You can bring them by our food pantry located in the XF Nebraska building at 1110 E 9th St Stromsburg Ne on Mondays and Wednesday afternoons from 1pm until 4pm. Or you can leave donations with the Evangelical Covenant Church located at 103 6th St Stromsburg during Sunday mornings or Wed and Thur betweeen 10am-3pm. In the month of July we did 12 food pantries and in June we did 19 food pantries. We are seeing a huge need and lots of families we have never seen before. Please donate if you can. Thank you for you continued support!
