❗️ATTENTION❗️

Aquatic W**d Control will be treating Curly-Leaf Pondweed on Big Turkey Lake this week. If your lakefront area is treated, you will receive a yellow flag indicating that a temporary irrigation restriction is in effect.

Please note that there will be a 3-day irrigation restriction only for homes located within the treatment areas. A yellow flag will be placed in the yard of each affected property.

Big Turkey Lake Clean-Up Day 🌿

Join us Saturday, April 18th, as we come together to keep our community clean and beautiful!

We’ll meet at the public access at 11:00am, where trash bags will be provided and groups will be organized to clean the roads and additions around the lake. Targeted areas are highlighted on the map.

What to know:
• Wear brightly colored clothing for safety
• Bring gloves if you have them
• Walk, drive, or use a golf cart to cover the area
• Please dispose of trash and recyclables properly

Lastly, don’t forget to snap a photo and share it with us—we’d love to see everyone in action. 📸

Big Turkey Lake Improvement Association is teaming up with the Big Long Lake Association and Pretty Lake Conservation Club to offer a boaters education course. We are committed to keeping our young people and lakes safe. THIS CLASS IS FREE OF CHARGE!

This is a six hour class that will be offered on May 31st from 8am to 2pm at the Big Long Lake Clubhouse. All three lake associations will sponsor lunch for the class. This class allows boaters that are at least 15 years of age to operate a motor craft with a 10 hp motor or larger.
