So many people are living with the mindset, “I just need to make it to the weekend.”

We work hard, push through stress, and treat rest like a reward for surviving. But God’s design is better than that. As believers, we are not called to work to rest, but to work from rest — resting first in Christ and then serving from that place of peace, trust, and dependence on Him.

Our newest article looks at what it means to let the finished work of Christ shape the way we approach our jobs, responsibilities, leadership, and daily lives.

Take a few minutes to read it here:

What would change in your life if you truly began working from a place of rest in Christ?

Amidst the busyness of life, we often overlook the beauty of quiet moments where true clarity and inspiration can emerge; it is in these sacred pauses that we reconnect with our purpose, align our hearts with God's intentions, and cultivate a sense of peace that empowers our endeavors, reminding us....

A yearly planning retreat is one of the best ways to move from chaos to clarity—protecting volunteers, aligning ministry calendars, and helping leaders act with unity and purpose.

This article walks through three approachable ways to do it (online, at the church, or offsite) and shares a simple retreat agenda that helps you leave with:
• 3–5 ministry priorities
• draft sermon + event + discipleship calendars
• owners assigned + a first 90-day action plan

A good retreat doesn’t have to be perfect. It needs to be faithful.

A yearly planning retreat doesn’t have to be expensive. It just needs the right people, a clear agenda, and decisions you can act on—starting with a 90-day plan.

Most churches don’t struggle because they lack good intentions — they struggle because good intentions drift into 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 ministry.

If your leadership team feels like you’re always “keeping the machine running” instead of leading with clarity, unity, and follow-through, this article is for you.

“𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲: 𝗕𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹” covers:

- How purpose keeps a church from being *busy without being fruitful*
- The most common planning traps (tradition, urgency, overcommitment, silos, follow-up gaps)
- A simple “calendar stack” that aligns sermons, events, teaching, communication, and follow-up
- A practical 𝟳-𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 you can do in a half-day retreat (plus decision rules that protect volunteers)

✅ If you’re planning the year (or trying to reset midstream), this will help you build a simpler shared plan — and keep it alive with monthly check-ins.

Artificial intelligence is transforming our world—helping with emails, images, and even education. But for Christians, the key question isn’t "Should I fear AI?"; it’s "Who is Lord?" Scripture reminds us to fear God, not technology. AI, after all, is a tool created by humans, and like any tool, it can be used for good or harm. The real concern isn’t AI itself, but how we steward it.

When used wisely, AI can support church administration, outreach, Bible study, and care—freeing up time for what truly matters: loving people and deepening faith. But we must beware of pitfalls like misinformation, shortcuts, and dehumanization. Christians are called to use AI with discernment, always prioritizing truth, integrity, and human dignity. Want to explore more about how to navigate AI faithfully? Check out this insightful article: https://app.titus15ministries.org/sp/5e863dc694a/

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲

Jesus said, “L𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯.” (Matthew 5:16)

That includes your work ethic. When you show up on time, do your job with excellence, and treat people with kindness, you’re representing Christ.

The world takes notice. People want to know how you keep calm when things get crazy. Or why you don’t cut corners. Or how you show grace to a difficult boss. Your consistency, integrity, and attitude open doors for the Gospel.

Proverbs 22:29 says, “𝘋𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬? 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴.”

Skill matters. So does character. Your faith and your work should go hand in hand.

𝗢𝗯𝗲𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸
Proverbs 3:5,6 tells us to trust in the Lord and lean not on our own understanding. That includes our career decisions, business goals, and daily tasks. Too often, we make our plans and ask God to bless them later. But true wisdom means submitting our work to Him first.

Let’s be people who listen for His leading, even in the mundane. That means praying over your job, seeking His will in your decisions, and trusting Him when things go off-script.

I’ve seen this firsthand. I once spent two full days trying to debug a COBOL program at work. Nothing made sense. Finally, I stopped and prayed, “Lord, You know what’s wrong—show me.” And I kid you not, within moments, I spotted a missing comma. Problem solved. God cares about commas. And careers.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸Colossians 3:23 says,“𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰, 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘺, 𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦𝘯.”Work is ...

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸
Colossians 3:23 says,

“𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰, 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘺, 𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦𝘯.”

Work is a form of worship. That means your job isn’t separate from your spiritual life. It is your spiritual life. Whether you're a janitor, a software developer, a CEO, or a stay-at-home parent, your daily tasks can be an offering to God.

The Puritans often discussed vocation as a calling. I believe God has each of us exactly where we are for a reason. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us,

“𝘈 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘴, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘥𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘴.”

If He has you in your current job, He has a purpose in it. When you see your work as worship, your desk becomes an altar.
