⚾️Thank you to everyone who came out to our Opening Day celebration for t-ball & coach pitch last Saturday. It was a fun-filled day of baseball, food, and community fellowship!

We had food trucks from Chop Chop Amarillo and Pumbah's Tacos & Burgers, Sweet Confections by Kifi, a dunk tank (benefitting Stratford Youth Sports), cow patty bingo (benefitting Sherman County Farm Bureau), and various other vendors.

The ceremony was conducted by First Methodist Church Pastor Bryan Wardroup. The National Anthem was performed by Abby Murphy. The fire truck and American flag were graciously set up by our Stratford Fire Department.

In addition, we incredibly were honored to have our EMS Director, Jimmy Lanning, throw out the first pitch during our Opening ceremony. It was caught by one of our SYS players, Lee Russell.

It was a great way to kick off our season, and we hope everyone enjoyed it! Make sure to come out and catch some games during the month of June! ⚾️
