Irene and her family were such a staple in the Snowmobiling community. Making it to the Arietta Hotel having a drink and a nice cup of soup was always a treat. Lots of stories were shared, and many stories began over at Arietta. Rest in Peace, Irene.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Irene Pretty Scharpou, aged 88, who peacefully left this world on May 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. There are 2 missing doggies from the Salisbury Center area(near Peck Road). A Golden Doodle and a Newfie Mix... if anyone sees these 2, please contact Ryan Hoover (717) 368-5907
Ryan is very new to the area and has no idea where they might be. Please keep a lookout and contact him if you see the doggies! Thanks!🐾🐾

There is a club meeting TONIGHT for the Stratford Snowdrifters at Oppenheim Trailblazers Club House starting at 7p. Reminder to all members: If you do not attend two meetings prior to January's elections you will NOT be able to VOTE for the new leadership positions.

The sun is up! It will be a beautiful day out in the woods. 6-10+ of snow fell, hard to say with the wind. Set low expectations regarding grooming. Any remaining base was glare ice, as you've been seeing in every other clubs report. Stop into one of our great trailside establishments, they'd love to see you... It's been one of those years! Pine Lake Lodge has a beautiful bar and plenty of seating for a fine meal. Pleasant Lake Inn will be ready for your groups, you can fill your belly and gas tank as they have non ethanol fuel ready for sale. East Canada Stop & Shop has a deli, pizza's sandwiches and beverages to go. Thank you for all of your support, see you at the ELECTION for the new Board of Directors for Stratford Snowdrifters. The election is on Wednesday, March 2nd 6PM at our friends Oppenheim Trailblazers Snowmobile Club house

Despite the weather the 2022 Poker Run ♣️♦️♥️♠️was another huge success. Over 175 hands were played and there were lots of smiling faces over at OTB for the drawings. THANK YOU to the staff and club for allowing us to host the Poker Run again. Prizes included 50/50’s, Alpin Haus gift cards, Adirondack Pack baskets, handmade quilts, locally made genuine leather pillows & purses, booze, candy… you name it. The crew from Tin Camp won the grand prize for the second year in a row 🤔… the bucket of NYS lotto tickets. Suddenly, on Sunday we found out they were leaving their camp early to stop at the Ski Doo dealership to spring order sleds for the entire camp. Almost like they all just came into a large sum of 💰money. I hate to speculate, but… 😁

Also: We’ll be putting another sweatshirt order in, “soon”. I admit that I completely missed a couple of orders- thank you for your patience and understanding.
