This is exciting news for Stratford Elk fans, near and far!

For so many years, Stratford was incredibly blessed to have Greg Wright and the Stratford Sports Network. Greg traveled countless miles, gave up nights and weekends, and poured an unbelievable amount of time into making sure Stratford kids, families, alumni, and fans could follow Stratford athletics. I’m afraid it was one of those things many of us simply came to expect without ever stopping to think about how much sacrifice went into making it happen.

And now, as Greg closes that chapter, here come Corey and Bailey Naugle willing to pick it up and keep it going.

I’ve always believed that God has a way of providing people with a servant’s heart when a community needs them. The Naugle family has demonstrated that heart for Stratford time and time again, and this is just another example.

Things like this don’t just happen. Someone has to say yes. Someone has to put in the hours, make the trips, do the work, and care enough to keep a good thing alive.

Thank you, Greg, for the many years you gave Stratford and for building something worth continuing. And thank you, Corey and Bailey, for stepping up to carry it forward.

Stratford is fortunate to have people who love their community enough to serve it. Best of luck with Stratford Elks Radio—I know a lot of people will be listening!

THANK YOU, to all of you who attended the concert Saturday night.

Please, if you don’t mind, take a minute to let us know the good, the bad, and the ugly from the evening.

Also, I’ve had several requests for an update on money donated for the Matthew’s family. We are still awaiting payment for a few of the guitars that were auctioned off at the end of the evening. If all of those payments arrive, as we anticipate they will, we’ll have raised approximately $15,000 toward our goal of providing them with a new home.

Matthew was a sweet 11yo who tragically lost his life in the Perryton tornado and his brother is currently in critical condition from injuries sustained that same day. His family lost everything. We are hoping to raise enough money to not only buy them a new home but also fully furnish it!
If you feel led to donate, here are a couple of easy ways to do so. We will also take cash or check at the Mike Ryan concert, Saturday night.
