Strasburg Tiger Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Strasburg-Franklin Local School District.

We raise funds to promote educational programs, provide scholarships, secure grants, and support projects that enhance learning opportunities for students. During graduation, the Strasburg Tiger Foundation proudly honored our 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award recipients:

✨ Richard Longfellow (Class of 1961) — A lifelong servant leader whose career in business and decades of community involvement, including 19 years as Tiger Foundation treasurer, reflect a deep commitment to Strasburg and beyond.

✨ Matt Neidenthal (Class of 1986) — A respected business leader and founding member of the Tiger Foundation who has made a lasting impact through his professional excellence and dedication to supporting local schools, families, and organizations.

✨ Rodney Patton (Class of 1987) — A decorated U.S. Navy leader whose 30-year career in national defense and global service exemplifies leadership at the highest level while proudly representing his Strasburg roots.

Each honoree embodies what it means to be a Tiger — making a difference, leading with purpose, and giving back.

🎓 Celebrating Our Scholarship Recipients 🐾

The Strasburg Tiger Foundation is proud to recognize our 2026 Scholarship Recipients, who were honored at the Senior Awards Breakfast on May 2nd and will graduate this Sunday, May 17th:

✨ Violet Thomas
✨ Lyla Wiggs

Each student received a $2,500 scholarship and has demonstrated strong leadership in academics and extracurricular activities. We are proud to support these students as they take the next step in their journey — and we look forward to all they will accomplish.

Since 2009, the Foundation has awarded 104 scholarships totaling more than $110,000, supporting Strasburg students as they pursue their future goals. Each year, the number of recipients and award amounts may vary, but the impact remains the same.
