‼️A big shout out to Lucy Hockman‼️

💜SKMS Track Athlete Lucy Hockman wins the first medal for our program with a 🥉Bronze🥉 in the High Jump at states in Richmond.

The Girls 4x 100 meter Relay Team ( Alivia Ratcliffe, Lucy Hockman , Amelia Thompson, Evelynn Bauserman) broke their own record for the 3rd time this year in the rain with no starting blocks . Amazing performances by all the Athletes in less desirable conditions.

Lucy is a rising 8th grader. We can’t wait to see what her future holds next season!

Today, we celebrated an incredible milestone — the SKMS Class of 2030 is officially on their way to high school. 💜🎓

How did we get here so quickly?

It feels like just yesterday our children were walking into middle school with nervous smiles, oversized backpacks, and so much uncertainty about what the next few years would bring. Now, they are leaving SKMS stronger, more confident, more independent, and ready for the next chapter.

Seeing these children grow through challenges, achievements, friendships, laughter, lessons learned, and memories that will stay with them forever. They’ve shown resilience, kindness, school spirit, and determination every step of the way. We could not be more proud of the young adults they are becoming.

To the teachers and staff at SKMS — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for your patience, encouragement, guidance, and for believing in our children even on the days they struggled to believe in themselves. You have helped shape not only their education, but also their confidence and character.

A special thank you to the principal/assistant principal and teachers for your leadership, support, and dedication to creating a school where our students could grow, learn, and feel supported. Your impact on this class will not be forgotten.

To the Class of 2030: never forget where you started, how far you’ve come, and all the people cheering you on. High school is waiting for you, and we know you are ready to do amazing things.
