A huge ‘Thank You’ once again to the Stewardson-Strasburg FFA for their food drive and tremendous donation of items to our local Blessings in a Backpack chapter this year. All of these items will stay right here in the Stewardson and Strasburg communities and help secure hunger-free weekends to local children.

FREE summer lunch programs begin Monday June 2 at Windsor Elementary School from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Adult lunches are only $5.00. Any child age birth - 18 can get a FREE lunch.
This begins on June 2nd and continues DAILY all summer long through August 1st. Every day there is a choice of lunch and each lunch includes milk choices, whole grains, fruit & veggies. Lunch is served from 11:00am - 1:00pm. All children age birth-18 eat free of charge; adult meals are just $5.00.

The holidays are not only a season of thankfulness, family, and celebration, but are also a time when many wish to give to their favorite organizations.
If you are looking for a local organization as part of your ‘Giving Tuesday’ donations this year, please consider Blessings in a Backpack. All monetary donations are used to cover the grocery expense to feed kids right here in the Stew-Stras school district. Every Friday, a bag of food goes home with each child enrolled in the program to help feed them through the weekend.

Thank you Trinity for the donation!

Our students brought in food offerings to support our local Blessings in a Backpack program. Thank you to everyone who brought items in! If you still want to donate you can bring items in next week!

Food Haul to feed our Blessings kiddos for the next 6 weeks or so! We currently have a little under 40 kids enrolled to receive bags each week! Thank you again to all our donors through food drives and/or monetary donations! A special shout out to our most recent donor Strasburg Lions Club!

If any local students or organizations need volunteer hours throughout the school year, please reach out. We pack bags once a week and could easily use the help of a few volunteers from time to time. Packing and transporting usually takes about an hour.
