Here's a great night of fun for everyone...

Again we truly appreciate all the donations and help we have received from local businesses, groups, organizations and individuals. After years of hoping and praying soon we will be able to have room for all our vehicles and room for our volunteers to be safely able to serve this wonderful fire district and to properly train. Strasburg Fire and Rescue can't thank you enough.

9/11 is a day embedded in the mind and heart of every First Responder in the United States. 411 innocent First Responders doing what they were trained to do lost their lives that day including 343 members of the NYFD. The Strasburg Fire and Rescue remembers this tragic and sad day today as some of our members attended the Strasburg Public Schools 9/11 Flag Raising Ceremony this morning at the Strasburg Public School. To the 411 First Responders who died this day 25 years today...we members of the Strasburg Fire and Rescue Department carry you with us every time we respond to a call. EOW...'Rest in peace and thanks for your service our Brothers and Sisters, we have the watch from here.' For all 2,977 who lost their lives that day...Rest in Peace.

Reminder that when you are at the Bull Bash this weekend in Strasburg please stop by our table and help us stuff the boot. All donations go to help us with the costs of adding on to the Strasburg Fire Hall. Thanks again for your support!

Strasburg Fire and Rescue is part of a wonderful area of small Volunteer Fire Departments where local men and women volunteer to help protect their Fire Districts. But when we are called to Mutual Aid with our Brothers and Sisters in need, we show up and together with them can conquer anything. Strasburg Fire and Rescue is proud to be a part of this area’s Fire Departments and to help our Neighboring Departments in their time of need as they have done for us in the past. Strasburg Fire and Rescue was proud to aid, along with eight other area Departments, in stopping this wildfire this past week outside of Hazelton. Working together as a unit and as cooperating departments...That is what we do. We are Volunteers and we are always on call and will always respond to help and protect you and your property!

It's so wonderful to see progress on the building expansion to our Fire Hall. Thanks going out to everyone from the construction crew to donating sponsors to Strasburg Fire and Rescue members to the Strasburg Fire District Board for your help, understanding and appreciation for this Fire Department and what we provide to our Fire District. This new addition will definitely assist us in our service to you and our dedication to the entire Strasburg Fire District. Thank you so much for your support.

Things are really moving forward for Strasburg Fire and Rescue. We have our new sign, we have our backup generator in place so even when the power goes out we are still able to respond 100% and our building expansion is proceeding perfectly. Thanks again to those who have donated in any way shape or form to this major project. This building expansion is necessary for us to continue to serve you...the wonderful people of the Strasburg Fire District with trained and experienced Firefighters, EMT's and First Responders. We can't thank you enough!
