Thank you to the Northern Virginia Daily, nvdaily.com for highlighting the amazing work happening through the Community Grants program.

The Shenandoah County Community Foundation has awarded $65,000 in grants to 28 nonprofit organizations, supporting projects ranging from housing and healthcare to child care, education, public safety and recreation. For executive director Becky Stickley, the grants demonstrate what can happen when a community comes together to address its needs.

What a day! Thank you to everyone who joined us last week for Stronger Together: Nonprofit Learning Day, held in partnership with the Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce. We were inspired by the energy and engagement of the nonprofit professionals, board members, volunteers, and community leaders who came together to learn, share ideas, and strengthen our community.

A special thank you to our incredible speakers and panelists for sharing their expertise, experiences, and practical insights throughout the day.

We also extend our appreciation to our event sponsors DuPont Community Credit Union, First Citizens Bank, LD&B Insurance and Financial Services, and X-Roads Advisory. Their support made it possible to provide high-quality training and keep this opportunity affordable and accessible.

Fund Friday Spotlight 🔦

Earlier this month, the annual Gallon of Milk Auction at the Shenandoah County Fair helped raise more than $32,000 for the 4-H Dairy Scholarship Fund.

Thanks to a winning bid from R&L Construction, INC and Recycle Management, llc , along with additional contributions from generous supporters, local students in Shenandoah County 4-H and FFA programs will have access to scholarship opportunities that support their future education and career goals.

This fund invests in the next generation of agricultural leaders, providing educational opportunities for students who have dedicated their time and talents to our local farming community.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this long-standing tradition a success.
