💲DONOR SPOTLIGHT - WHEELER FAMILY

Did you know Care to Learn has a monthly donation option available? Max and Samantha Wheeler have been donating every month since we began our chapter. The Wheeler's are always consistent supporters of our fundraisers as well. Thank you!

💚 What is their WHY?
"We give to our local Care to Learn because we believe no child should have to worry about basic needs when they should be focused on being a kid and getting an education.

Sometimes something as simple as a pair of shoes or hygiene products can make a huge difference in a child’s day - and in their ability to learn. As parents, we know how important it is for children to feel supported, cared for, and confident. And if that new pair of shoes helps put a smile on a kid’s face - that’s just icing on the cake!

To us, giving to Care to Learn isn’t just giving money - it’s giving a child in our community one less thing to worry about."

💚 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT - LISA KING

Mrs. King and her students have been helping with our Spearpack food program for over 10 years! Lisa has made it one of her missions to share about the power of volunteering and community service by helping Care to Learn - Strafford.

Our Spearpack food program feeds approximately 80 students each weekend. These food bags have a big impact for Strafford families campuswide. And the collaborations that happen around our campus make us proud to be Indians!

🎉 CARE TO LEARN STRAFFORD 2025-26 RECAP!

Last year, our Care to Learn chapter spent $32,686.08 meeting 3,139 student needs. That’s a big impact!

On behalf of our chapter liaison team, Nurse Lacey and Marcy, we want to say thank you and we're looking forward to another great year with Strafford R-VI School District!

✨ Corporate Sponsor Spotlight

Over the past four school years, APAC Southern Missouri has generously donated a total of $11,400 to support Care to Learn Strafford and help meet the health, hunger and hygiene needs of students in our community.

Recently, our Care to Learn co-liaisons had the opportunity to visit APAC’s Springfield office for a tour and to see firsthand the people and work behind this community partner.
