What a beautiful day for a ride in Valley Parkway. We weren't the only ones in the park this morning. There was The Cleveland Touring Club, Cleveland Cycling Academy, Bonnie Park Group and the Fall Vintage Car Parade. There was also the Cancer walkers out this morning. We all enjoyed the cool temperatures and great comradery. OK some of the pictures are not in Valley Parkway but I couldn't resist posting..

Saturday was VeloSano day!! 16 ABC members took to the roads to help develop cures for cancer at the Cleveland Clinic. To date, TEAM ABC has fundraised $33,000+ where 100% of that goes toward life-saving cancer research at the Clinic. THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR DONORS!! Of our 16 riders, 13 completed (+1 DNF) the 100 mile route (an amazing number and %). It was another wet VeloSano, but what's new.... the roads got real "crappy" around Burton (if you know what I mean 💩). So proud of these 16 riders representing ABC and the fundraising they accomplished. BIKE TO CURE!

Roscoe Ramble 52nd 2 day ride to Coshocton, OH is completed. All 70+ riders had a great ride through Stark, Wayne and Holmes counties. With all the rolling hills, open fields and our Amish friends made for great scenic riding. Thank you Tommy W and Kathy W for another Roscoe Ramble. Kudos to all the volunteers and special mention to Bob W. who is always there and our Smoothie King Dana K. We have such a treasure right here in our Great State of Ohio.

September 19th…. Your chance to help out the “Bike To Cure”.

🚨Volunteers Needed 🚨

Be the first person to greet our Riders as they arrive to VeloSano Bike to Cure! Strong Volunteers are needed to help Unload and Load riders' bicycles onto the parking lot transport shuttle.

This role is a shorter shift, but does involve lifting bicycles and standing on your feet. A great opportunity for fitness groups, school sports teams/clubs.

A good turnout of 19 riders from ABC and Medina Velo today to es**rt the “343” riders from Wellington to Medina Fire Station. On ~mile 2800 of their ~3500 mile ride from SF Bay to Ground Zero in NYC in memory of the 25th Anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the 343 firefighters that lost their lives that day. An honor to ride with this crew as they complete their mission to “NEVER FORGET”!!
