Our speaker for May was Ms. Sammie from We Rock the Spectrum who shared the wonderful things happening in their corner of the plaza at Fishcreek and Graham Roads. They have open gym hours, young adult/teen/tween nights, and specialized services! With a mission of providing a safe, nurturing, sensory-friendly environment for children of all abilities, they are a great resource in Stow!

In addition, she had the honor of being our first speaker to choose a book on behalf of the Kiwanis for the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library in her name/organization as we begin this new community service each month!

It will be the past, present and future at the Kiwanis Club of Stow-Munroe Falls' monthly luncheon on Wednesday, June 17.

The topic will be Hale Farm & Village and the speaker, executive director Stephanie Lero. She first became involved with Hale Farm & Village in 2013 as an intern with the Western Reserve Historical Society. She returned to the Western Reserve Historical Society in January 2024,as the executive director of Hale Farm & Village. She oversees the museum's operations, programs, and preservation efforts while helping to share the rich history of the Western Reserve with visitors of all ages.

The luncheon is from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Center on Hudson Drive in Stow. No reservations are needed.

Join us for our Kiwanis meeting at 11:45 this Wednesday, 5/20 at The Center Events and Catering on Hudson Drive where we will welcome We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym to hear about their wonderful offerings to our community.

SMF Kiwanis members volunteered at Stow City Hall to fill Bulldog Bags this morning! Over 900 bags were filled in a little less than an hour!

It's no joke - the SMF Kiwanis Club's business meeting will be Wednesday, April 1, at 11:45 a.m. at the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library. There is road construction underway on Route 91 (Darrow Road) including in front of the library, with traffic down to 2 lanes. The library has suggested using the marked entrance off Elm Road.

The SMF Club will assist with the packing of Bulldog Bags on April 10 at Stow City Hall. Contact Bill Flinta to volunteer or for more information at [email protected].

Tax season got you down? Come celebrate the end of it at our April 15 luncheon at 11:45 a.m. at The Center. The program will be the Stow-Munroe Falls Community Foundation.
