💚 Mental Illness Awareness Week 💚

Mental health is health, and no one should feel ashamed to talk about what they’re going through.

This week is an important reminder to lead with kindness, listen without judgment, and remember that we may never know the challenges someone else is facing.

At Zane’s Inc., we believe awareness and understanding can help break the stigma surrounding mental illness and encourage more people to seek the support they need.

A little compassion can make a bigger difference than you realize. 💚

Here’s an easy way to help Zane’s Inc. earn 5% cash back through Acme Fresh Market!

Ask your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to shop at Acme Fresh Market and SAVE those receipts! We are collecting eligible receipts dated August 1, 2026 through February 15, 2027.

📬 Getting your receipts to us is easy! Drop them in our collection box at the Church in Silver Lake office, mail them to us or contact us and we’ll arrange to pick them up.

Want to help collect receipts at your workplace, organization or another location? We have collection boxes available, too!

📅 Please turn in ALL receipts by February 20, 2027.

Communication is so much more than spoken words. People communicate in many meaningful ways, including gestures, facial expressions, sign language, communication devices, pictures, writing and other forms of AAC.

Today, Zane’s Inc. celebrates nonspeaking and nonverbal individuals and encourages everyone to make space for different ways of communicating.

Every person deserves to be heard, understood, included and valued.

Today, Zane’s Inc. recognizes International Day of Sign Languages, a day dedicated to celebrating the importance of sign languages and promoting the rights, inclusion and accessibility of Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals around the world.

Communication connects us, builds understanding and creates stronger, more inclusive communities. Today is a wonderful reminder that everyone deserves the opportunity to communicate, be understood and have their voice heard.
