Good morning,
We wanted to thank the residents who took the time to make donations at our Annual Stow Community Giving Day yesterday.
It was great to have our friends Jeanne and Adrienne from the Stow Community Chest there to talk about the work they do in our town.

We were able to collect:
-54 coats for our coat drive
-14 toys for the Fire Departments Toys for Tots Drive
-We had 8 glasses donated to the Lion’s Recycle for Sight program
-Finally we collected over 6 bags of food and a large package of soup for the Stow Food Pantry.
We truly appreciate our community's generosity and coming out to support our event, and look forward to seeing you all next year.
If you are still looking to make donations…
-The Stow Fire Department will be accepting Toys for Tots donations until December 8th in their lobby.
-The Coat Drive for Anton’s Coats for Kids and Families will be going on through January 6th at the Community Center.
-The Lion’s and Stow Food Pantry have donation bins year round at the Community Center.
The Stow Food Pantry has a collection bin at Shaw’s which they update with their most needed/requested food items.
If you are looking to make a difference locally please consider donating to the Store Community Chest.

We would like to again thank those who supported our Community Giving Day.
Also a special thanks to Alyson from the Council on Aging, Laura and Laura from the Recreation Department, Cyndy from the Stow Independent for her helping publicize the event, Jeanne, Adrienne, and Kaitlyn from the Stow Community Chest, and everyone who helped us get this posted on Facebook and spread the word. Finally to my kids and wife for their support and help.
If you have questions or suggestions for next year please contact Jon at [email protected].
Best,
Jon
