2025 Stow Community giving day

Thank you to everyone who donated and to the Stow Lion’s for sponsoring this year's event.

We were able to collect:

-A dozen pairs of glasses for the Stow Lions Eyes for Sight program
-A few toys for Toys for Tots
-A few bags of food for the food pantry
- 25 coats for Anton's Coats for Kids and Adults

We were also able to assemble 100 packages of hot chocolate and candy canes for the clients at the Stow Food Pantry.

If you were not able to attend the event today. You can still make donations to the

-Toys for Tots will be collected at the Stow police station until Wednesday, December 10th

-Coats for Anton's Coats for Kids and Adults can be dropped off ant any Anton's location until January 10th

-The Lion's Eyes for Sight box is located in the entry of the community center.

-Stow Food Pantry at Shaw's

Do you have new or used winter coats for toddlers, kids or adults that you would like to donate to help the Center and Hale School’s coat drives for Anton’s Coats for Kids?

Do you have new unwrapped toys you would like to pass on to Toys for Tots?

Would you like to help local families struggling with food insecurity?

Do you have any old glasses that you don't know what to do with?

Well now is your chance on Saturday, December 7th from 11-3 back lefthand hall at the Pomopsitiquit Community Center on Great Road in room 127 volunteers will be here to take your donations.

Stow Lions will be joining us and sponsoring this year’s event if you would like to learn about how they help our community or would like to volunteer with them.

We are already off to a great start and have had several donations already, and are happy our friends from the Stow Community Chest and Stow Lions are able to join us. Come and find out about all their volunteer opportunities. We will be here till 3pm.

The Council on Aging is also having their Holiday sale until 2pm!!!

Good morning,

We wanted to thank the residents who took the time to make donations at our Annual Stow Community Giving Day yesterday.

It was great to have our friends Jeanne and Adrienne from the Stow Community Chest there to talk about the work they do in our town.

We were able to collect:

-54 coats for our coat drive

-14 toys for the Fire Departments Toys for Tots Drive

-We had 8 glasses donated to the Lion’s Recycle for Sight program

-Finally we collected over 6 bags of food and a large package of soup for the Stow Food Pantry.

We truly appreciate our community's generosity and coming out to support our event, and look forward to seeing you all next year.

If you are still looking to make donations…

-The Stow Fire Department will be accepting Toys for Tots donations until December 8th in their lobby.

-The Coat Drive for Anton’s Coats for Kids and Families will be going on through January 6th at the Community Center.

-The Lion’s and Stow Food Pantry have donation bins year round at the Community Center.

The Stow Food Pantry has a collection bin at Shaw’s which they update with their most needed/requested food items.

Good morning,

We wanted to thank the residents who took the time to make donations at our 1st Annual Stow Community Giving Day, and apologize for any confusion with the drop offs as we had to move indoors due to the wind and rain.

We filled the lobby of the Community Center with:

-11 bags of coats, approximately 80 coats for our Center and Hale coat drive

-20 toys for the Fire Departments Toys for Tots Drive

-We doubled the donations for the Rosie’s Place Drive

-We had about a dozen or more glasses donated to the Lion’s Recycle for Sight program

-Finally we collected over 25 bags of food for the Stow Food Pantry with one resident bringing a car trunk of food for us.

We truly appreciate our community's generosity and coming out to support our event, and look forward to seeing you all next year.

If you are still looking to make donations…

-The Stow Fire Department will be accepting Toys for Tots donations until December 10th in their lobby.

-Our Nashoba High School Student’s drive for Rosie’s Place will be going on through December 20th at the Community Center.

-The Center and Hale School’s Coat Drive for Anton’s Coats for Kids and Families will be going on through January 5th at the Community Center. Your donations may help them earn a $1,000 gift card towards sports equipment and after school programs.

-The Lion’s and Stow Food Pantry have donation bins year round at the Community Center.
The Stow Food Pantry has a collection bin at Shaw’s which they update with their most needed/requested food items.

If you are looking to make a difference locally please consider donating to the Warm Hearts of Stow Holiday Gift Fund to help purchase holiday gifts for seniors, children and teens whose families are experiencing financial hardship. warmheartsofstow.com
