We are sad to inform you our performance trip to the AHSTF at the Fringe had been canceled due to the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on our travel plans. We would like to thank you for all your support. The money we raised will be used to support the Stow Munroe Falls high school Drama clubs future events. Please continue to support these students by watching or attending their future performances Thank you again on behalf of the students of the SMFHS drama club

Upcoming events for Stow Munroe Falls High School Drama Club:

Holiday Live Stream - A live reading of holiday stories, a live choir performance, as well as a live instrumental performance. We may even have a visit from Santa himself!
-This event will be held on December 18th at 7 p.m. It will be on the school district's page. We hope to start off the winter break with some holiday cheer!

Junior Class Play - This will be at some point in February. It will be a radio show that will be live streamed. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming info!

All School Musical - This will be in April. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming info!

Murder Mysteries - These are fun interactive plays that are written by students. Keep on the lookout for more info!

One Act Plays - These plays are based on a Shakespearean theme every year, and are student-written.

In August 2020, students from Stow-Munroe Falls High School Drama Club will perform at the world’s largest performing arts festival, The Fringe Festival, in Edinburgh Scotland. We will be part of the American High School Theater Festival. SMFHS Theatre was nominated, fall of 2018. They went through a rigorous application process. They were among only 35 schools in Canada and the US selected to perform and the ONLY high school in OHIO. Each participant must earn $6000. The club bears the cost of total show production, including advertising, scripts and royalties. This is quite an honor for our school, city and state, as we will be representing our skills and talent in front of the whole world at this international festival. We will be among over 3500 different performances. If you are interested in donating money to help send the students to Scotland please contact us.
